Bryan Taylor
President (Founder) - Coach and Trainer
Bryan has a love and passion for sports and business. He has over 30 years of experience playing sports throughout his life and over 20 years experience in Sales, Marketing, Sponsorships and Customer Experiences. Bryan has worked with major organizations the St. Louis Cardinals, St. Louis Rams, Nebraska Cornhuskers, Oklahoma City Thunder, Samsung (Local and Global) and many more. Bryan played multiple sports including basketball, baseball and football. Growing up in Illinois he played baseball and basketball all 4 years in high school. Bryan also played basketball at the collegiate level at Eureka College. Both in high school and college Bryan was awarded Conference Scholar Athlete Award(s) for his commitment to excellence in sports and academics. His time at Eureka College he was honored with ALL-Conference Team honors and ALL-Conference New Comer Team Award. Bryan continued his education after Eureka College and earned his MBA in Marketing. Bryan has always had a passion for coaching, teaching and developing youth through sports and will continue to do so with Defenders Sport.
Willie Battles
Executive Vice President (Co-Founder) - Coach and Trainer
Willie gets excited for all things sports. Willie has over 10 years of experience in finance and he has served 8 years with the United States Army. Willie is from Arkansas, he has been involved in sports since he was 6 years old from Track & Field, Football, Baseball & Basketball. In High School he was a dual sport athlete that lettered in Track & Field and Football. Willie continues to participates in sports from flag football and basketball. Willie enjoys teaching how sports can be a positive outlet.
Kieston Greene
Executive Vice President Skills Development and Baseball Operations (Co-Founder) - Coach and Trainer
Kieston has a broad background dealing with sports and fitness. As a standout High School athlete he played football, basketball, and baseball at the varsity level beginning as a freshman. After turning down collegiate opportunities to continue to play football and basketball, Kieston went on to play Division-I baseball at Wright State University. While at Wright State he earned the Conference Player of The Week award 3 times as well as several other accolades including All Conference and All Tournament Teams. His passion for fitness combined with his athletic expertise create the ideal space for young athletes to mold and develop their skills. Multi-sport playing experience allows him to tailor workout regimens to fit the player and position type. As an advocate for “Student before Athlete”, his development program is constructed to foster the connection between athletic and post career skillsets.
